My first real post - Dunedin, South Island, New Zealand - 26th March 09

Finally i am slowly getting together all the info and pics on my trip. I am writing a daily diary but its really difficult to get access to a computer all the time to blog. However here goes. Funny but once you start travelling you realise the things you miss and need the most - this week has been a highlight for me as, wait for it, i have an onsuite toilet! I know, you must be thinking, what? but really when you dont have these things, things you take constantly for granted, you really appreciate, a quiet crap i can tell you.
So Dunedin, a nice town way down south of the South island, very english in house design with large double story houses and some really nice scottish architecture, Dunedin means "Little Edinburgh" as is likened to it, but its very different to Edinburgh it just has some buildings with similar architecture. This week i have been painting a fence which looks quite good actually, mowed the lawn and some weeding and looking after and walking Ruby the black lab, she is 3 and an absolute treasure.

I work for 3 hours a day and the rest of the time is my own.

Dunedin - Baldwin street, the steepest street in the world, its apparently in the Guiness book of records, luckily we drove up!
